港珠澳大桥——外国专家眼中不可能完成的任务,中国做到了!

  预计今年12月完工的港珠澳大桥,全程55公里,横跨珠江口伶仃洋,被称为“新世界七大奇迹之一”。

  它拥有全世界最长的海底沉管隧道,长达6.7公里,由33节每节重达8万吨的沉管对接而成,是迄今世界最长、埋入海底最深、综合技术难度最高的沉管隧道,被誉为工程界的“珠穆朗玛峰”。

  中国日报最近独家探访了这一世纪工程:

  此前,我国并没有建设外海沉管隧道的工程先例,这是一个陌生的领域。外国专家认为这一工程难度太高,“无法想象,也做不到”,是一个不可能实现的巨型工程。港珠澳大桥岛隧工程总工程师林鸣在接受中国日报独家专访时说,

  “沉管隧道位于珠江口,有潮流、有珠江的径流、还有海底的淤泥,我们面临着很多困难。许多外国专家都非常担心,你要挖这么个槽子能挖成功吗?”

  "The link located at the Pearl River Estuary withstands the tide of the South China Sea, the runoff from the Pearl River and the silt accumulating in the sea bed. We faced unprecedented difficulties. Some foreign experts had grave doubts about the feasibility of the tunnel project. "

  然而历时八年,通过“自主研发、自主攻克”,中国的团队做到了。

  如此庞大的工程,林鸣形容为“三千人共走钢丝”。他说:

  “三千人共走钢丝,我们一起走了六年。当一个人在钢丝上,哪一步不重要呢?”

  "Every step our team of 3,000 took was as risky as wire-walking and we persisted at it for six years. Could one afford to be less careful with any steps taken while walking on wire?"

  这种共同攻坚克难的信念,支撑着整个团队完成了这项巨大的挑战。林鸣说:

  “沉管隧道一开始,我们就走上了钢丝,像我这样的司令员要走,下面的班长、排长、连长、包括每个兵,都跟着我一块儿走,有一个人拖后腿,我们同样都会掉下去,确实这个过程当中需要团队的密切配合。”

  "Once the construction of the tunnel started, our team had to go through a process akin to doing a wire-walk. And it wasn't just me, the team leader, but all those who worked under my supervision, including every man at the bottom of the pyramid, who followed me in going through a similar process. The entire system would have collapsed if any one of them made a mistake. So the whole team had to work very closely."

  世界目前的海下隧道,普遍采取浮在海床上的技术,没有深埋在海床下的先例。港珠澳大桥的沉管隧道工程,是世界首例。林鸣说:

  “大桥所在区域是珠江口出海的主航道,每天通过的船舶超过4000艘,要做30万吨邮轮的预留。”

  "The bridge is situated in the Pearl River Estuary. Over 4,000 vessels pass through this part of the sea every day. We have to leave enough space for over 300,000 tons of shipping volume."

  “因此沉管隧道就要埋得很深,大概海床下22米,整个水深达到近50米。”

  "In this regard we have to bury the tunnel very deep, reaching 22 meters below the seabed, which is nearly 50 meters below the sea level."

  目前世界范围内,沉管隧道没有不漏水的记录。为了使得隧道“滴水不漏”,该工程团队在沉管材质方面创新性地采用了“半刚性”结构。

  通常沉管隧道最终接头安装需要半年以上的时间,港珠澳大桥通过自主创新,把原来需要半年的时间缩短到一天完成。

  为了安装6000吨的接头,团队装备了全世界最大的起重船,具备单臂固定起吊12000吨的能力,被称为“对世界沉管的巨大贡献”。

  有着“香港桥王”之称的刘正光说,“港珠澳大桥改变了外界对中国人不能做出高品质工程的看法”。

  "The island-and-tunnel project of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge changed the stereotyped ideas about China being incapable of executing a world-class engineering project. "

  荷兰隧道专家汉斯·德维特说,“这个工程,从技术上来说,超越了所有以往建设沉管隧道的极限,令中国由一个沉管隧道的小国,变成了世界沉管隧道的领军国家。”

  "The project has touched new heights of immersed tunnels technology, transcending previous limits. It has made China the leading country in engineering advanced immersed tunnels technology."

  从48岁到60岁,林鸣为港珠澳大桥付出了12年的人生。林鸣接受采访时说道:

  “我可以自豪地说,港珠澳大桥是我职业生涯中最满意的作品。”

  "The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is the most satisfying work of my whole career, I can proudly say. "

  “如果仅仅看到港珠澳大桥对香港有利,这个眼光只看了20年。如果说这个大桥再往前看30年、50年,受益的是珠江口湾区这个整体。”

  "People who claim that the bridge only benefits Hong Kong are short-sighted. In my view, 30 to 50 years from now, the bridge will be a significant factor in adding to the prosperity of the whole bay area of the Pearl River Estuary."
