昌江，位於海南島西線，瀕臨北部灣，全縣陸域面積1620平方公里，海岸線長65.97公里，海域面積867平方公里。共轄8個鄉鎮，常住人口25萬，其中黎族人口約占三分之一。2021年全縣地區生產總值143.74億元，人均GDP位列全省前列。

Changjiang, located on the west coast of Hainan, is close to the Beibu Gulf, with a land area of 1620 square kilometers, coastline of 65.97 kilometers and sea area of 867 square kilometers.It has jurisdiction over 8 towns and has a permanent population of 250,000, of which Li population accounts for about one-third. In 2021,the county’s gross regional product was 14.374 billion yuan, and its per capita GDP ranked at the top of Hainan province.
