　China’s fine traditional culture is extensive and profound. It is the crystallization of the wisdom of Chinese civilization. Lingnan culture is an important part of this heritage. Guangdong pioneered reform and opening-up in China. Openness and inclusiveness form the very essence of this land, where Lingnan culture has taken root and been passed down. While its economy and society have developed at high speed, how can Guangdong better carry forward and spread Lingnan culture?

　Daria, a Russian student at Peking University, spent a year traveling across 21 cities in Guangdong Province, where she got to know over 30 Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage items and learned about their stories of how they have been passed down.
