　Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up, Shenzhen has developed rapidly, creating a great miracle that makes the world look at it with new eyes. Shenzhen today is the epitome and witness of the significant historical change and rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Through the sharing of compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan areas of China and the sharing of international friends, this column tells about their experiences and feelings of studying, working, living and starting a business in Shenzhen. It shows the Shenzhen temperament of daring to venture, openness and inclusiveness, being pragmatic and law-abiding, pursuing excellence, and Shenzhen’s charm of being suitable for living, business and tourism. Under the historic opportunity of building the first pilot demonstration area of socialism with Chinese characteristics, Shenzhen is starting a new journey with the momentum of "reform does not stop, opening up does not stop", and as a tribute to the centenary of the CPC.

　位於深圳市羅湖區春風路的佳寧娜廣場，深圳人肯定不陌生，它是由香港著名的紡織大王馬介璋所建。

　馬介璋是廣東潮陽（現汕頭市潮南區）人。1984年，創業有成的馬介璋從香港回到了闊別三十多年的故土。與許多愛國企業家一樣，馬介璋對祖國和家鄉懷有無限的感情。為使家鄉盡快脫貧致富，馬介璋1985年寫下了人生中最濃墨重彩的一筆——到創立伊始的深圳特區投資建廠。他認為，投資興業的好處更長遠：第一，可以創造就業機會；第二，能為國家引進新科技、新管理；第三，在內地投資賺了錢再反饋社會，捐助公益事業，這樣效果更好，比單純捐款要有意義的多。

　馬介璋的事業與改革開放緊緊聯繫在一起，三十多年來，他的事業蒸蒸日上，如日中天。馬介璋旗下的香港達成集團及佳寧娜集團於1991年在香港聯合交易所上市時，業務網絡便已擴展至港澳、內地以及亞洲、美洲、歐洲與非洲的諸多國家和地區。現在，達成集團及其全資附屬公司佳寧娜集團，更發展為世界性成衣製造商及經銷商，業務擴展至酒店、餐飲及食品製造、零售，物業投資、物業發展和物流管理，成為一家創於香港、植根中國、實力雄厚、業務多元的綜合大型企業集團。

　一路走來，馬介璋感慨良多：40年來深圳的發展可以稱得上是輝煌40載，但我認為大家還要繼續加油。深圳的發展空間仍然很大，深港兩地互動日益頻繁，粵港澳大灣區規劃對年輕人來說更是意味着無限可能。我自己也年輕過，當時沒有這麼好的條件。港青應該好好珍惜這個機會，並要創造新的機會，以更好成就自己的前途。

　馬介璋的長子馬鴻銘也頗有其父之風。從業以來，始終關注國計民生，扶危濟困，勇為人先。鑑於馬氏家族對內地暨香港本地的卓越貢獻，香港特別行政區政府於2003年同時向馬介璋及馬鴻銘頒授銅紫荊勳章，這在港深兩地被傳為一時佳話。

　如今已是佳寧娜集團控股有限公司董事局副主席的馬鴻銘，一直致力於為港青進入深圳創業搭建平台。「我們啟動了一個『港人服務中心』，是一個平台。目前香港的環境並不是特別好，所以我覺得藉助國家的粵港澳大灣區『9+2』的戰略，港青比較容易在粵港澳大灣區中尋求機會。」

　馬鴻銘認為，中央對香港的期望非常高。除了對香港成功實踐「一國兩制」，更重要的是香港會持續發揮國際金融中心的地位，發揮航運、國際商貿中心的功能。港深兩地未來的互動將越來越頻繁，深圳比其他城市對香港來說會更有優勢。馬鴻銘特別提醒，港青應深入了解國家新的戰略方向，這對自己的創業會有很大幫助。

　Ma Jiezhang: invest and develop business, give back to hometown

　Located on Chunfeng Road in Luohu District, Shenzhen, the Carrianna Plaza is certainly no stranger to Shenzheners, as it was built by Ma Jiezhang, the famous textile king of Hong Kong.

　Ma Jiezhang is a native of Chaoyang, Guangdong (the Chaonan District of Shantou now). In 1984, He returned to his homeland from Hong Kong after more than 30 years of absence. Like many patriotic entrepreneurs, Ma has infinite love for his country and hometown. To make his hometown out of poverty and become rich as soon as possible, Ma Jiezhang made one of the most important decisions in his life in 1985 - to invest and build a factory in the newly-established Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. He believed that the benefits of investing in the industry are more long-term: firstly, it can create employment opportunities; secondly, it can introduce new technology and new management for the country; thirdly, the money earned from investment in the mainland can then be back to the society and donated to public welfare, which is more effective and more meaningful than simply making donations.

　Ma Jiezhang's career is closely linked with the reform and opening up. Over the past 30 years, his career has been booming. When Ma Jiezhang's Tak Sing Alliance Holdings Limited and Carrianna Group were listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1991, the business network had been expanded to Hong Kong, Macao, the mainland, and many other countries and regions in Asia, America, Europe, and Africa. Now, Tak Sing and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Carrianna Group, has developed into a worldwide garment manufacturer and distributor. With its business expanding to the hotel, catering and food manufacturing, retail, property investment, property development and logistics management, the company becomes a comprehensive and large enterprise group with strong strength and diversified business.

　Along the way, Ma Jiezhang has a lot of feelings: "The development of Shenzhen in the past 40 years is glorious, but I think we have to continue to work hard. Shenzhen still has a lot of room for development. The interaction between Shenzhen and Hong Kong is increasingly frequent, and the planning of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area means unlimited possibilities for young people. I did not have such good conditions when I was young. Hong Kong youth should cherish this opportunity and create new opportunities to make their future better. "

　Ma Hongming, the eldest son of Ma Jiezhang, also has a father's style. Since working, he has always paid attention to the national economy and people's livelihood, helped the poor, and dare to be the pioneer. In view of the outstanding contribution of the Ma family to the mainland and Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star to Ma Jiezhang and Ma Hongming in 2003, which has been a famous story in Hong Kong and Shenzhen at that time.

　Ma Hongming, who is now vice-chairman of the board of Carrianna Group Holding Co., Ltd, has been committed to building a platform for Hong Kong youth to enter Shenzhen for entrepreneurship. "We launched a Hong Kong people service center, which is a platform. The environment in Hong Kong is not particularly good at present, so I think it is easier for Hong Kong youth to seek opportunities in the Greater Bay Area based on the 9 + 2 strategy. "

　Ma Hongming believes that the central government has a high expectation of Hong Kong. In addition to the successful practice of "one country, two systems", it is also essential for Hong Kong to continue to play the role of the international financial center and the shipping and international trade center in the future. The future interaction between Hong Kong and Shenzhen will be more and more frequent, and Shenzhen will have more advantages over other cities for Hong Kong. Ma Hongming reminded that Hong Kong youth should understand the new strategic direction of the country in-depth, which will be of great help to their own entrepreneurship.
