　Over the past 40 years of reform and opening up, Shenzhen has developed rapidly, creating a great miracle that makes the world look at it with new eyes. Shenzhen today is the epitome and witness of the significant historical change and rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Through the sharing of compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan areas of China and the sharing of international friends, this column tells about their experiences and feelings of studying, working, living and starting a business in Shenzhen. It shows the Shenzhen temperament of daring to venture, openness and inclusiveness, being pragmatic and law-abiding, pursuing excellence, and Shenzhen’s charm of being suitable for living, business and tourism. 　「我是一名香港青年，愛國愛港愛家鄉就是我的原則，任何對青年有利的事情我都要講，得到什麼後果我是不計較的。」身為香港深圳青年總會副主席的郭曉星，一直致力於中華文化傳播和香港青年工作。

　2014年底，郭曉星北上深圳，7年來，郭曉星主要從事物業管理行業，將香港的管理經驗帶到內地。憑著多年的物業從業經驗，郭曉星於2019年承包了龍崗區一棟物業並將其打造成大灣區青年公寓。

　疫情防控期間，為解決部分北上香港青年在隔離結束14日後的生活居住問題，大灣區青年公寓為香港青年提供了便利性優惠政策：凡是香港青年可6.6折入住，一個月內參加義工服務滿16個小時以上的可積分換取免費入住一個月。

　郭曉星說，為了讓有意到大灣區發展的香港青年了解灣區扶持政策，大灣區青年公寓也會將政策製作成ppt向入住的青年進行介紹。郭曉星希望藉此引導香港青年融入大灣區學習、就業、生活，讓香港青年積極融入粵港澳大灣區建設，在深圳經濟特區發展中作出新貢獻。

　目前，郭曉星還擔任著深圳信森創意文化傳播有限公司的董事，並創立了香港龍崗青年總會。

　在經營大灣區青年公寓的過程中，郭曉星接觸到了中華非遺文化，感受頗深，「了解和傳承中華文化是愛國精神的體現，香港青年應該學習中華文化，不斷增強民族自尊心和自豪感，為祖國建設發展做出貢獻」。在郭曉星的推動下，香港龍崗青年總會與時代非遺客家文化基地聯席合作，定期公益性舉辦香港青年學習中華文化活動課堂，推動深港兩地青年工作。

　在香港龍崗青年總會中華文化傳習基地，隨處可見書畫作品和陶瓷彩繪作品。「每周三我們會在傳習基地舉行中華文化學習，包括寫書法、畫工筆畫等」，郭曉星說，「通過對中華文化的傳承、弘揚與創新，可以提升自身氣質和修養，亦能增強香港青年的歷史責任意識。」

　在郭曉星看來，當前已經有很多人關注創科創客，他更加關注的是基層青年。他所在的香港深圳青年總會，以「促進內地與香港青年交往交流，融合發展」為宗旨，旨在廣泛吸納來自不同地區、不同學歷、不同背景的有志青年，為其積極投身灣區建設，實現個人價值提供交流平台和機會。「我覺得香港青年融入國家發展大局，可以從衣、食、住、行、文（兩地青年文化交流融合）、創（創業創新）六大分類着手。」郭曉星還表示，在大灣區這麼多優惠政策的氛圍中學習、就業、生活、創業、交往、交流、交融，青年們會感覺到有歸屬感和獲得感。

　今年4月30日，由郭曉星擔任隊長的「港澳青年團體志願服務隊」在龍崗成立。該志願服務隊主要由香港龍崗青年總會、龍崗各街道港人聯誼會中的30餘名青年代表組成，是深圳首個「港澳青年團體志願服務隊」。疫情期間，該服務隊組織香港青年投身疫情防控捐贈防疫物資以及廣西兒童助學公益活動。郭曉星說，深圳及內地為港青工作和創業提供了很多幫助，港澳青年通過做義工的方式回饋祖國，做一個有擔當的青年，也是傳承愛國情懷的體現。

　Guo Xiaoxing: love the country and Hong Kong, be patriotic and responsible

　"I am from Hong Kong. It is my principle to love China and my hometown Hong Kong. I will say anything beneficial to the young people. I don't care about the consequences." Guo Xiaoxing, the vice-chairman of the Hong Kong Shenzhen Youth Association, has been committed to the dissemination of Chinese culture and service work for Hong Kong youth.

　At the end of 2014, Guo Xiaoxing went north to Shenzhen. Over the past seven years, Guo has been mainly engaged in the property management industry, bringing Hong Kong's management experience to the mainland. With years of experience in the property industry, Guo contracted a property in Longgang District in 2019 and built it into a youth apartment for the youths in the Greater Bay Area.

　During the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic, to provide the living places for the Hong Kong youth who finished the two-week quarantine in Shenzhen. The youth apartment provides preferential policies for them. It offered young people from Hong Kong a 1/3 discount. Besides, those who have participated in volunteer service for more than 16 hours within one month can earn credits in exchange for 30 days of free-living.

　Guo Xiaoxing said, to let the young people in Hong Kong who are interested in developing the Greater Bay Area understand the support policies, the staff of the youth apartment will also explain the policies through PPT. Guo Xiaoxing hopes to take this opportunity to guide the youth of Hong Kong to integrate into the study, employment, and life of the Greater Bay Area so that they can actively integrate into the construction of it and make new contributions to the development of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone.

　At present, Guo Xiaoxing is also a director of Shenzhen Faith Creative Culture Disseminate Co., Ltd and founded the Longgang Youth Association of Hong Kong.

　In the process of running the youth apartment, Guo Xiaoxing knew more about Chinese intangible cultural heritage and felt deeply that "understanding and inheriting Chinese culture is the embodiment of patriotism". Guo believes that Hong Kong youth should learn Chinese culture, constantly enhance national self-esteem and pride, and contribute to the building and development of the motherland. Under the effort of Guo Xiaoxing, the Hong Kong Longgang Youth Association cooperates with Longgang Times Ich Hakka Cultural Heritage Center Maosheng Residence to hold regular public welfare classes for Hong Kong youth to learn Chinese culture to promote youth service work in Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

　In Hong Kong Longgang Youth Association Chinese Cultural Heritage Center, calligraphy, painting works, and ceramic paintings can be seen everywhere. "Every Wednesday, we will hold a study of Chinese culture in the transmission base, including calligraphy, fine brushwork and so on," Guo Xiaoxing said, "through the inheritance, promotion, and innovation of Chinese culture, we can enhance our own temperament and self-cultivation, and also enhance the sense of historical responsibility of Hong Kong Youth. "

　In Guo Xiaoxing's view, many people have paid attention to the innovation and technology makers, but he pays more attention to the grassroots youth. The Hong Kong Shenzhen Youth Association, where he works, aims at "promoting exchanges and integrated development between the mainland and Hong Kong youth". It seeks to attract aspiring youths from different regions and with diverse backgrounds to provide exchange platforms and opportunities for them to participate in the development of the Greater Bay Area actively and realize their values. "I think the integration of Hong Kong youth into the overall development of the country can start from six categories: clothing, food, housing, transportation, culture (cultural exchange and integration of youth between the two places) and innovation (entrepreneurship and innovation). " Guo Xiaoxing also said that young people would feel a sense of belonging and achievements in learning, employment, life, entrepreneurship, communication, exchange, and integration because of the supportive policies in the Greater Bay Area.

　On April 30 this year, the "Hong Kong and Macao Youth Group Voluntary Service Team" headed by Guo Xiaoxing was established in Longgang. The team is mainly composed of more than 30 youth representatives from the Hong Kong Longgang Youth Association and the sodalities of Hong Kong people in Longgang. It is the first of this kind of organization. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the service team organized Hong Kong youth to participate in pandemic prevention and control, material donation, and public welfare activities of children education in Guangxi province. Guo Xiaoxing said that Shenzhen and the mainland had provided a lot of help for Hong Kong youth's work and entrepreneurship, and Hong Kong and Macao youth give back to their motherland by doing voluntary work. Being a responsible youth is also a manifestation of inheriting patriotism.
